Bragg Building and Design

Bragg Building and Design are an all-round building firm that specialises in sheds, new homes and renovations. As old-school builders, there’s nothing Bragg can’t do, from driveways to decks and interior construction, as well as project management and insurance work for larger clients. 

Bragg came to us looking for a new website that would better house their services and reflect the quality of their build projects. The old site was uninspired and busy, making it hard to navigate. A redesign was needed to direct users to send quotes and get in touch more easily.

Bragg had already done some extensive branding work, so we wanted to use their logo and colour palette in our website design. We started with a much cleaner look than the previous site, spacing out content and creating separate sections which didn’t overlap. We also included a ruler effect on certain pages for some distinct personalisation. To add diversity to their site, Bragg also wanted to include Māori headings to the majority of titles, which director and founder Shahn Bragg kindly provided. 

The home page clearly displays Bragg’s tagline ‘Building the Future. Restoring the Past.’ with a fun shifting text animation bringing the title to life. Below are links to all of Bragg’s services, followed by further content describing Shahn’s offering. 

The About Us page is largely given over to displaying some of the many companies Bragg is proud to sponsor and work alongside, as well as the core values and talent that make up the Bragg team. Again, we refrained from keeping the page too busy, using large imagery and separate, spaced-out sections to direct the eye around the page.

The service pages include all eight core offerings and the sub-services under those, leading to an enquiry form linked to our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tool, Ailem. This makes it easy for Bragg and the team to get the low-down on what potential clients need and come back with a decent initial quote. 

Other sections include the contact page and a separate information area for FAQs and career applications.
